Conference this Saturday!!
Are you unsure about coming to Conference? Remember, swim team members of all ages can attend, and we'd love to see you there! The only requirement is having participated in 3 meets (or 2 meets plus time trials) this summer!
Still unsure about attending?
- It's inside the Kirkwood HS natatorium - a cool experience for your kids to swim in a BIG indoor pool with stadium seating!
- Yes, it's all 6 teams together, but the meet is only slightly longer than a regular meet because it's an 8-lane pool, there are limited entries, and each team sends a few less kids than regular meets. We usually finish around 12:30 or 1, so you'll have a few hours to relax or do other things before the fun banquet that evening!
- Since it's inside, no sunscreen or bug spray needed, plus there's A/C!
- FOOD TRUCKS - there will be a crepe truck and coffee truck for your refreshment!
- It's a FUN way to end the season with an exciting experience your kids can be PROUD of!
One more detail:
- Every family is assigned a volunteer job, but each shift is only for half of the meet, so you are free the other half. Volunteer jobs will be sent in a separate email.
