Board - We are looking for volunteers to serve on the Swim Team Board next summer.  Swim Team can only run if we have parents willing to serve on the Board.  All current members of the board have been serving for at least a year, and some have served many years!  Some of the board will be continuing next year, but there will be plenty of open spots.  It's time for some new families to step up and serve.  It's easier to start shadowing this summer so you are better prepared next summer. 

Some roles don't take much time, and others demand more time.  Email us and let us know how much time you have and what you are interested and we'll find a spot for you.  The more people that serve, the less work for all of us.

The responsibilities of each role roles are:

• Parent Rep - Hire and serve as point of contact for coaches, liaise with other teams in our league, organize logistics for meets, liaise with the pool board.
• Treasurer - Manage bank account and expenses.
• Computer Rep - Organize meets within Swimtopia, print heat sheets and labels for ribbons.
• Volunteer Coordinator - Organize parent volunteers for swim meets.
• Spirit/Social - Organize spirit wear orders and distribution.  Plan the end-of-season banquet.
• Communications (currently shared between Parent Reps and Spirit/Social) - Update website, send emails and reminders, update social media.
• Concessions - Purchase and organize food and drinks for home meets (2 or 3 meets each summer).
• Triathlon - Organize the Triathlon and liaise with other teams in our league.
